Gay Asian Pacific Alliance (GAPA) presents “PRELUDE: Songs & Stories from the Heart,” featuring GAPA Men’s Chorus, GAPA Theatre and special guest artists Michael Nguyen and Brian Palac.
Join us as we showcase the talent of our community in this varied, multi-disciplinary show. GAPA Men’s Chorus will be presenting a preview of the special program they are performing in April at the Tokyo Hand in Hand LGBT Choral Festival. GAPA Theatre will be presenting individual stories that speak to the queer Asian Pacific Islander experience, as a precursor to their full-length production in early May as part of the United States of Asian America Festival. With the addition of guest artists Michael Nguyen, Brian Palac, and other featured performers, the evening’s eclectic musical and theatrical offerings promise to joyfully come together in support of spreading our cultural message both at home and abroad. |
