Before Listen for Life was founded in 1998, the world was losing music cultures at the rate of five per year! While endeavoring to record/film those cultures and sustain the musicians, we discovered other ways that their music could help to heal, educate and inspire the planet, so we created outreach projects that share their gifts with the world. We invite you to learn more about all those projects, elsewhere on this site. In the late 1990’s, Donna Stoering, our Founder/Artistic Director, was touring the world as an Artistic Ambassador for both the UK and the USA when she was approached by musicians, music listeners, network producers and media viewers around the globe, all pleading for a way to “save” their music. |
