logoMake History! The GLBT Historical Society's 2018 Gala, promises to be a delight for all of your senses!

Join us for a spectacular evening featuring Tony Award Nominee and and Obie-winning trans-genre cabaret star Mx. Justin Vivian Bond! Emceed by Michelle Meow, with a hosted bar, resplendent hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction brimming with entertainment and fun inspired by LGBTQ history.

At this year’s gala, we'll highlight the vibrant history of our community as we honor archivist, collector and curator Lisbet Tellefsen; the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus on the occasion of their 40 year anniversary; and Thomas E. Horn, president and trustee of the Bob Ross Foundation. We'll also celebrate the memory of pioneering LGBTQ studies and human sexuality scholar and educator Dr. John P. De Cecco with a very special recognition.

Come out to support the GLBT Historical Society so we may continue to fulfill our mission of preserving and presenting our history through our archives and museum. Thanks to you, we can grow our collection of historical materials, showcase them in the museum and preserve them for the benefit of future generations. You will also be helping the GLBT Historical Society as we plan for a new, world-class museum in San Francisco.
