The 3rd annual SPAGHETTI DINNER FOR THE 99% was held on January 29, 2014 at the Unitarian Universalist Center,
1187 Franklin Street, San Francisco. The purpose of the dinner and program was to celebrate and recognize the work of the San Francisco 99% Coalition over the past year. The event was sponsored by Unitarian Universalists for Peace & Justice-San Francisco, a committee of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco: www.uusf.org This fundraiser also raised awareness of the work of these community organizations and benefited the educational projects of UUs for Peace & Justice-SF and the San Francisco 99% Coalition :www.sf99percent.org contact: sf99percent@gmail.com and follow on twitter: @sf99percent After a delicious vegetarian spaghetti dinner, the program featured awards to outstanding local activists, who exemplify in their lives and work, the goals of the coalition to promote nonviolent, nonpartisan advocacy for social, economic and environmental public policies. Also appearing were activist and author Jerry Mander, political satirist Will Durst, Revolutionary Poets Brigade poets Karen Melander-Magoon and Dee Allen and MCs Janet Weil and Vahid Razavi. Rev.
