Category: Veterans2018-09-30
logoObserving the 50th anniversary of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and the first anniversary of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, the Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament presents this forum featuring former CIA analyst Ray McGovern and Bay Area nuclear experts Jacqueline Cabasso and Marylia Kelley, executive directors of Western States Legal Foundation and Tri-Valley CAREs, respectively. Additionally there will be a musical performance. The Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament was assembled by the War and Law League (WALL) in 2016 and hosted Dr. Helen Caldicott for a lecture in the Koret Auditorium. WALL has been organizing such lectures and forums since 2006 as the main feature of its biennial meetings. This year WALL observes its 20th anniversary, having pursued since 1998 its aim of carrying out the Constitution and U.S. treaties in matters of war and peace.
